Spider Game

The final project for my CS488 course at the University of Waterloo. This game was written in C++ and OpenlGL utilizing lua scripts for objects. You control a spider using the WASD and Arrow keys and looking with the mouse. Lighting and Fog effects can be shown and there are two different environments for your spider to travel in. You can even change how the spider looks. You can get the source here.

Note: You can get the spider stuck at times. You will need to reset the spider position.

The spider was programmed by projecting a normal from the surface the spider was on and then mapping the leg points at normals from the surface so it appears the spider is always walking on the surface.

Hope you enjoy!
